Don’t paint red flags white.
Those of us with anxiety or negative self talk may blame ourselves when things in our life are complicated or not going the way we want them to. It is easier for us to look inward and blame ourselves. Seeing the truth of the matter could be painful. It could present more work for us.
But don’t paint red flags white.
Ask yourself: do I feel the way I feel based off of something that happened? or is this ACTUALLY just all in my head? I am willing to believe it is probably a mix of both.
