 About Me

“Family Court: A place where showing love is classed as being emotionally unstable. Contacting your children is classed as harassment. False allegations are encouraged and accepted. Perjury is accepted. The truth is ignored.”

When I got divorced, I thought it was a new beginning: my daughter and I could reset and live a new, peaceful life.

But I had absolutely no idea what I was in for.

I entered the Family Court system in 2018 and thought this would be “easy.” At that point, we agreed to divorce, filed uncontested, and I paid to have an agreement drafted by a Lawyer that my ex approved along the way. Getting to the day of divorce in 2019 was not easy – and at times I was urged to file a contested Divorce by my Attorney. I trusted my gut at the time.

From that point on, nothing proved to be easy. Agreements weren’t actually agreed to. Parenting time could be changed without notice, and without penalty. Child support was optional. I was (and am) the sole provider to my daughter and have continuously been accused of “not doing enough” in various ways at any given moment.

If you are like me, you expect the court system to be a place of help and support. When I made the leap to leave my toxic relationship I had to navigate the system by myself even though I had little to no finances, no resources, no support, and no idea what I was doing. At times, I even wondered if my own lawyer was on my side.

I used my lawyer as my therapist and vented to friends who didn’t “get it.”

Frankly, no one got it, because it didn’t actually make any sense.

I understand where you are because I’ve not only been there. I became certified in Emotional and Narcissistic Abuse to specifically help women who are where I was. In 2023, I became Certified High Conflict Divorce Coach to support women going through the Family Court System and divorcing a High-Conflict individual (Narcissist). I trained with Tina Swithin at One Moms Battle and learned from the best in the field – including Dr. Ramini Durvansala.

If you resonate with any of the following statements, you need a divorce coach on your team:

  • I am new to divorcing a narcissist and I don’t want to make mistakes.

  • I am struggling with radical acceptance and managing my expectations.

  • I struggle with what (and how) to document.

  • I have been using gray rock communication and it’s hurting my case.

  • I don’t understand what matters to the court system and I feel lost.

  • I feel alone and no one understands – my own therapist seems baffled.

  • I am at odds with my attorney, and I don’t feel heard.

  • I am facing a custody evaluation and I don’t know how to prepare.

  • The judge sees me as part of the problem and I don’t know how to turn this around.

My Approach

I understand that this is not a “normal” divorce because it was not a “normal” marriage.

My role as your divorce coach is to support you through the complexities and painful process that accompanies divorce.  You don’t need to walk alone, spin your wheels, or burn yourself out emotionally and psychologically.

Together, you and I can create an action plan that protects you and your children.

Our strategy sessions are customized based on your specific issues, goals and emotional health. As a neutral third party, I am able to provide an objective perspective to improve your effectiveness and save you financially.

We will work together to fill your toolbox with documentation techniques and communication skills that will help bring your truth to light.

In our first session, I will learn about your case and explain the roadmap we will take together based on what you share with me. I will also share as many resources as I can to help you – now.
